Lathe Department
The first stop for many parts is the Lathe Department. It uses a wide variety of turning and milling processes to take raw metal bars or castings to make finished cylindrical parts. A few of these processes include turning, drilling, boring, threading and broaching.
In the first photo below, a solid bar of 440C stainless was manufactured into a seaming chuck which is used to seal the lid to a can (like Campbell's soup).
The second photo below shows a wide variety of parts we've produced on our swiss machining center showcasing its' immense capability.
