Several years ago, we had difficulty finding high quality dead centers at reasonable prices to use on our lathes and grinders, so we decided to manufacture our own. We had several customers who shared the same concerns. A "few" centers soon grew into an entire line of standard dead centers. Through word of mouth, some strategically placed ads, and a network of distributors, Stark Industrial soon became one of the largest manufacturers of dead centers in the United States.
